Anatomy of a Cloud Application

11 am - 12 pm

In this talk we will discuss the design considerations that motivate development of cloud native applications. We’ll then explore the technologies within Microsoft Azure that can be used to implement cloud native designs.

Mike is currently the Data & AI Architect at the Microsoft Technology Centre for Microsoft Canada. In this role Mike works with customers of all shapes and sizes to help them design Data & AI centric systems on Microsoft Azure. Mike’s prior experience includes roles in leadership, architecture, and engineering within some of Canada’s leading FinTech companies. Mike received his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science, Co-op from the University of Waterloo in 2000.
